After lunch, you will visit Prambanan, a Hindu temple complex located near Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest temple complexes in Southeast Asia. The temple is dedicated to the Trimurti, the three main Hindu gods—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
In the evening, you will enjoy dinner and watch the Ramayana ballet performance held at Prambanan. The Ramayana Ballet is a traditional Javanese dance drama that depicts the story of Ramayana, an ancient Indian epic. It follows the journey of Prince Rama as he rescues his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana with the help of the monkey god Hanuman and his army of monkeys. The performance typically involves intricate costumes, artistic dance choreography, and live gamelan music, creating a captivating show. The Ramayana holds deep cultural and religious significance in Hinduism and has been retold in various forms across Southeast Asian cultures, including Indonesia.
Early in the morning, we will take you to Borobudur to witness the sunrise. There are specific points at Borobudur that are popular for observing the sunrise. After lunch, we will return to the hotel for some rest.
