Itinerary

Welcome to Bali! Our team will pick you up at the Airport/Hotel. We will take you to tourist attractions in the southern part of Bali.

First, we will head to GWK. It is a cultural complex and statue park located in Jimbaran, Bali, featuring the majestic Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. This statue is one of the largest in the world and has become an icon of Bali tourism.

The next destination is Uluwatu. Uluwatu is a cape located at the southern tip of Bali, known for its breathtaking views and spectacular sea temple. Visitors can enjoy a captivating sunset while witnessing the Kecak dance in the surrounding area. The Kecak Dance narrates the epic story of Ramayana, with dynamic dance and striking costumes.

Visiting Uluwatu and watching the Kecak Dance performance is a profound cultural experience in Bali, combining the beauty of nature, art, and the richness of tradition.

Afterward, you will indulge in fresh seafood dishes around the Jimbaran beach. The dishes are typically served with the distinctive flavors of Bali, such as sambal matah or sambal kecap. Having dinner on Jimbaran beach is a delightful way to savor authentic Balinese cuisine while experiencing the charm of the tropical beach and the beauty of the sunset.

On the second day, you will tour around using a VW from start to finish. We will take you to experience ATV riding in the Ubud area. Participants drive through challenging terrains, including muddy paths, rocky trails, and shallow rivers, providing an adrenaline-pumping off-road experience. Professional guides accompany the tour to ensure safety and provide necessary instructions.

After that, you will try the swings at Tegalalang. It's a thrilling adventure that allows visitors to swing high above the iconic rice terraces. Swings are set up in strategic locations along the terraces, offering participants a unique perspective as they soar above the green fields. The swinging experience at Tegalalang is not only an adrenaline-fueled activity but also an opportunity to capture stunning photos and immerse yourself in the beauty of Bali's nature

On the last day, we will take you to one of the largest souvenir centers in Bali. Krisna offers a variety of souvenirs and local products from Bali. From traditional fabrics, handicrafts, to Bali's specialty foods like chips, coffee, and spices, Krisna has become a popular destination for tourists to shop and bring home mementos from the island.

After satisfying your shopping desires, you will have lunch at Bebek Tepi Sawah, a renowned restaurant in Bali, especially known for its duck dishes prepared in the traditional Balinese way, either grilled or fried. The dishes are served with sambal (spicy condiment) and fresh vegetables, providing a delicious taste of authentic Balinese cuisine. The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful green rice fields, creating a tranquil and comfortable atmosphere.

Good 'ole Exodus!

An interesting blend of Vietnam from north to south including an o/n sleeper train. The success and enjoyment of these trips is usually down to the blend of fellow travelers and team leader and this one was no different. The weather, early season, was mixed with a little more rain and cloud than hoped for but did not detract from the enjoyment but a little more sunshine would have enhanced the countryside. A read of the brochure and trip notes will give a very accurate picture of the breadth and variety of the trip. The daily riding distances are mainly governed by the fitness of the participants and their ability to cover the miles in a reasonable time and for the first time in my experience of 7 trips we were delayed by some participants who frankly were not cycling fit and I wonder if they had read and understood the pre - trip advice!
