Nusa Penida is located southwest of Bali with an area of 79 square kilometers. It is part of the Klungkung Regency. Nusa Penida can be reached by sea, taking approximately 2 hours from Sanur Beach. Nusa Penida has several diving spots and boasts a diverse marine life.
Welcome to Bali! Our team will pick you up at the airport/hotel. We will take you to tourist attractions in the southern part of Bali.
First, we will head to GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana). It is a cultural complex and sculpture park located in Jimbaran, Bali, featuring the majestic Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. This statue is one of the largest in the world and has become an iconic symbol of tourism in Bali.
The next destination is Uluwatu. Uluwatu is a cape located at the southern tip of Bali, known for its breathtaking views and spectacular sea temple. Visitors can enjoy a stunning sunset while witnessing the Kecak dance performance in the surrounding area. The Kecak Dance is a show that narrates the epic story of Ramayana through dynamic dance and vibrant costumes.
Visiting Uluwatu and experiencing the Kecak Dance is a profound cultural experience in Bali, combining the beauty of nature, art, and rich traditions.
After that, you will enjoy fresh seafood dishes around Jimbaran Beach. The dishes are typically served with authentic Balinese spices, such as sambal matah or sambal kecap. Dinner at Jimbaran Beach is a delightful way to savor authentic Balinese cuisine while experiencing the charm of the tropical beach and the beauty of the sunset.
On the second day, we will take you to a small island southeast of Bali, Nusa Penida.
The first destination is Kelingking Beach. Its cliffs form a structure resembling a T-Rex head, with the top of the cliff resembling the dinosaur's head and neck, making this beach one of the most iconic in Nusa Penida.
Next, you will head to Broken Beach. Located on the southwest coast of Nusa Penida, this beach features a large natural pool formed by erosion, creating a large circular shape that appears "broken." The view is spectacular and provides visitors with the opportunity to witness the sea entering this formation through a large gap.
Afterward, you will proceed to another popular destination, the Tree House.
With a direct view of Kelingking Cliffs and the beautiful Bali Sea, this place provides a unique atmosphere that enhances the holiday experience on the island.
Lastly, there is Diamond Beach. This beach is renowned for its towering cliffs of limestone, creating a stunning landscape. To access the beach, you need to descend steep stairs, but the beautiful scenery along the way makes it a worthwhile and fascinating experience.
On our last day, we will take you to one of the largest souvenir centers in Bali, Krisna. Krisna offers a variety of souvenirs and local products from Bali. From traditional fabrics, handicrafts to Bali's signature snacks like chips, coffee, and spices, Krisna is a popular place for tourists to shop and bring home mementos from the island.
After a satisfying shopping experience, you will have lunch at Bebek Tepi Sawah, a renowned restaurant in Bali, especially known for its duck dishes prepared in the traditional Balinese way, either roasted or fried, served with sambal (spicy sauce) and fresh vegetables, providing a delicious authentic Balinese taste. With beautiful green rice fields surrounding it, the restaurant creates a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.
This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out G Adventures self-assessment form.
